Today's Opinions

  • Working for free

We’ve heard before that good help is hard to find. Free help is even harder to find and turning that down seems like a bad idea.

  • We need your voice

From council chambers to courtrooms, ball field to board rooms, we try as best we can to keep you informed on what is happening in your county and what government is doing on your behalf. Our job is to be your eyes and ears, but with one recent development, we hope that you might be willing to be our voice.

  • Clearly, freedom isn't free

We don’t know who coined the phrase “freedom isn’t free” but they were more right than they probably even realized.

  • Do the (side) hustle

It used to be called “moonlighting” but it’s now commonly referred to as a “side hustle.” Basically, it is a second job or alternate source of income that a person uses to supplement what they make at their regular job. The practice became a topic of much conversation in Chester County last week.

  • A free consultation

There are a lot of service-driven businesses that tout the fact that they offer customers “free consultation.” You may or not actually end up paying for it in the long run, but the idea there is that they review your individual case or circumstances, apprise you of how they will proceed on your behalf if they are willing to take you on as a client and then begin to charge you once they are actively working for you.

  • Totally free
  • By the book

When there is any question about how matters should be handled, when there is uncertainty about how any matter should proceed, we think the best option is to follow applicable rules and laws. Doing things by the book makes for the smoothest, most efficient path forward.

  • Your home

Your home and its appearance speak a lot about you. If you don’t mow your grass and let trash pile up on your porch, people make certain assumptions, whether or not those are fair and accurate.
