The 11-month search for a new Chester City Administrator may be coming to an end.

On Monday, Chester City Council voted to offer the position to Stephanie Guy Jackson, a Chester County resident who currently works as the assistant principal at Hunter Huss High School in Gaston County, North Carolina. Before that vote, though, Councilwoman Susan Kovas actually put forward another name, that being Daniel Wells.

“Without somebody like that that can hit the ground running, there’s really no point in making the hire,” she said.
