Take the plunge for Special Olympics

The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office will hold its annual SC Special Olympics Polar Plunge at Lake Wateree State Park on Saturday, Feb. 17.

Registration begins at 10 a.m., followed by a costume contest and awards at 11 a.m.

Those who are willing to brave the chilly waters in the 2018 Fairfield County Polar Plunge will enter the water at 11:30 a.m.

Lunch will be served at noon.

You can plunge with a team or on your own!

The Sheriff’s Office invites everyone to join them in supporting their athletes in this worthy cause.
