Roach oversees her first election

-A A +A
By Brian Garner

Was it a baptism of fire or an opening night debut? A “baptism of fire” is a martial term that refers to a soldier’s first time in battle. An opening night debut is an actor’s first night in a new role. For new Chester County Elections and Registrations Director Karen Roach, Tuesday night’s election was more of the debut and less of a baptism of fire.

Roach, who is the former Deputy Elections Director, was hired to the director position after Terry Graham left in August to become manager of voter services in Richland County.
