Pre-season stuff

It's hard for me to believe, but football practice starts tomorrow (Friday, July 29), scrimmages begin next week and actual real football games that count on the record are three weeks away.
Only Lewisville will hit the field on the first day allowed. They go 8:30 tomorrow morning. Their first scrimmage will be next Friday against Andrew Jackson.
Great Falls will start on Monday with two-a-days. The team's first practice will be at 8 in the morning. The Red Devils don't play their first game until August 26 (Chester and Lewisville play Week 0 games on August 19). The team has its first scrimmage a bit later too, playing host to Mid-Carolina on August 9.
Chester will start practice at 9 a.m. on Monday. The Cyclones will be the first team to play a scrimmage, though, traveling to Union County High on Thursday at 10a.m. The two teams should be familiar with one another by now, having competed against one another in a couple of 7-on-7s this summer.
Also, Chester AD Ricky Campbell has released the schedule for this year's Chester County Football Jamboree, which will be played on August 12. It'll start with a bang, as rivals Great Falls and Lewisville will play one quarter against one another. Westminster Catawba and Lewisville tussle for a quarter before Great Falls comes back to play another quarter against Westminster.
Fairfield Central and Lancaster will face off for a half. Then, Chester takes on former region foe Blythewood.
The confirmed special guests for the event so far include William Strong, Chris White and Rodney Feaster.
