Johnsonville man charged with drug trafficking in Chester

A Johnsonville man was arrested in Chester County Wednesday and now faces drug trafficking charges.
Tedric Brent Allison, 29, of 488 East Saint Luke Church Road in Johnsonville was pulled over by officials near the 55 mile marker on Interstate 77 in Chester County. In a trunk compartment of Allison's silver Chevrolet Impala, officers found approximately 177.6 pounds of marijuana in seven separate bails.
Officers also seized $274 in cash.
Chester County Sheriff Richard Smith said the approximate street value of the seized marijuana is $160,000.
