Chester County Supervisor Shane Stuart posted a press release on Thursday that stated ‘Chester County Emergency Management has designated the county as OPCON-3, which means an emergency/disaster is likely. Residents are encouraged to shelter in place unless they plan to leave the county.
‘We do not need extra drivers on the roadways,’ the release states.
‘Emergency shelters will be open at 6 p.m. at Chester Middle School, 1014 McCandles Road and Lewisville Middle School, 3595 Lancaster Hwy.
