Hazel Pittman Center shows a new face to the community

-A A +A
By Brian Garner

If you want to see what has been happening at the Hazel Pittman Center in Chester, just take a look at the front of the building.

The façade has transformed from a dingy, rundown storefront to a smart, awning-covered building.

That change was only one of many the staff at the Hazel Pittman Center showed off recently at their Open House.

HPC Executive Director Maria Bates has been at the center since 2010 and said she realized a lot of physical improvements were needed to the building.
