The books will open for candidate filing for municipal elections this Friday for the towns of Richburg and Lowrys.

Filing opens for the office of mayor and four town council seats in Richburg and filing for the office of mayor and four town council seats in Lowrys opens at noon on Friday. Filing also opens on Friday to fill the office of three town council seats in Fort Lawn.

Residents in the town limits of Richburg, Fort Lawn and Lowrys respectively have until noon Sept. 5, to file for those seats.
