The skate park in Chester planned by a revitalization group could soon be a reality; in other words, the idea of building a skate park for skateboarders and others is “catching some wicked air.”

At a recent CHS assembly, CURES (Citizens United for Redevelopment and Economic Stability) of Chester unveiled the plans for a skate park in Chester to enthusiastic response from the Chester High students.

CURES founder Ken Lebbon said he wanted to take a few minutes during the assembly to let students know what was about to happen in their community.
