A "baseball man" gets his own field

Whatever else he was, father, friend, coach, Ronnie Jacobs was a baseball man. That's what supporters were saying about the long-time Little League coach, player for the Philadelphia Phillies and community leader last week as the upper field of the Baseball Complex at Dawson Drive unveiled as Ronnie Jacobs Memorial Field.
Jacobs' long time friend and Pony League teammate Gene Love thanked everyone for coming out to the ceremony. He thanked Little League for allowing the field to be named and Chester County for supporting the field.
