  • Mr. Robert “Baby Brother” Feaster, 83

    PARKVILLE, MD. – Mr. Robert “Baby Brother” Feaster, 83, of Parkville, Md., formerly of Chester, SC and Portsmouth, Va., passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

    The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Freewill Baptist Church, 1601 Rutland Ave., Baltimore, Md., 21213. Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery, Virginia.

    CHESTER – The funeral for Mr. Antonio “Tony” Hemphill of 1616 Saluda Road, Chester will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Faith and Love Christian Center in Chester with Pastor Wylie Frederick officiating. Burial will be in Uriel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

    Mr. Hemphill died Wednesday, June 16, 2015 at Chester Regional Medical Center. He was 29.

  • Mr. Robert L. “Moon” Mack, 61

    CHESTER – The funeral for Mr. Robert L. “Moon” Mack of 628 Lancaster Highway, Apt. 217, Chester will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Jerome Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    Mr. Mack died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. He was 61.

  • Mrs. Aprioal Watts Wesley, 43

    FORT LAWN – The funeral service for Mrs. Aprioal Deon Watts Wesley of Fort Lawn will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at Mt. Tabor AME Zion Church with the Rev. Roosevelt Alexander and the Rev. Curtis N. Washington officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Memorial Park.

    Mrs. Wesley died Monday, June 15, 2015. She was 43.

    She was a daughter of Willie James Jackson and Mildred Watts Laws.

  • Mr. John Terry Fleming, 66

    CHESTER – Mr. John Terry Fleming, 66, died Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. All services will be private.

    Mr. Fleming was a son of the late Guy E. Fleming and Martha Hart Fleming.

    Survivors include two sons, Jody Fleming (Beth) and Jeff Fleming, both of Chester; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

  • Miss Clyde Ellen Funderburk, 62

    LANCASTER – A memorial service for Miss Clyde Ellen Funderburk of Lancaster was held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Lancaster with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating.

    Miss Funderburk died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at her home. She was 62.

    She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Barbara Norton Funderburk.

  • Mrs. Jessie L. Anderson Heath, 87

    FORT LAWN – Mrs. Jessie L. Anderson Heath, 87, of 5958 Hightower Road, Fort Lawn, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.

    The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Union Ezell AME Zion Church in Fort Lawn with Rev. W.N. Long officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Lawn Church Cemetery.

    Mrs. Lavallee died Thursday, June 11, 2015 at her home. She was 45.

    She was a daughter of Marguerite (Sue) Haner Impelizeri and the late Joseph Impelizeri.

Interment followed in the church cemetery.

    Mrs. McGinnis, 75, died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at her home in Greenbrier, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late William and Ada Roof.
