The Lewisville baseball team is used to seeing the best pitcher from every opponent’s staff. Luckily, the Lions have plenty of good ones themselves.
Lewisville went on the road Tuesday to face second-ranked Lamar. They faced a great pitcher in Daniel Galloway, but had one of their own on the mound in Drew Colvin and scratched out a pair of late runs to take a 2-1 victory.
“It was a classic pitcher’s duel,” said Lions Coach Billy Keels.
