There was no one between Xavier Holmes and the basket Tuesday night, so he decided to go for it. He's executed a 360 degree dunk in practice before, but had never dared to try one in a game. He knew there was a risk involved.
"If I had missed it, coach (John) Smith probably would have sat me for the rest of the game," Holmes joked.
Whether Holmes would connect on his crowd-pleasing dunk attempt was about the only drama in Tuesday's game, as Great Falls built a lead as big 45 points over visiting McBee and won by an 83-46 final.
