CHESTER – The funeral for Mrs. Edith Benson Scoggins will be held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Barron Funeral Home. The Rev. C.E. Taylor will officiate and burial will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Scoggins, 76, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Carolina Specialty Hospital in Charlotte. She was born March 26, 1934.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Taylor of Carlisle and Debra McMurray of Chester.
Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, is in charge of arrangements.
