The Chester County Historical Society, the Chester County Library and State Paranormal Investigations will present “Haunted Chester 2013” on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25 and 26.
On Friday, Oct. 25, there will be a ghost walk with Tally Johnson at 5 and 6 p.m. at the Chester County Library. The cost is $5.
A ghost tour of the 1914 County Jail with Liz Anderson will be held at 5, 6:15, 7:15, 8:15, 9:15 and 10:15 p.m. There are a limited number of tickets and waivers are required. No one under the age of 14 will be admitted and all persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. There is a $10 charge for this tour.
A special midnight tour of the 1914 Jail is available and limited to 10 people. A waiver is also required and there is a $20 fee.
Join investigators for a panel discussion with experts from State Paranormal Investigations at 7 p.m. at Anna's Arbor. Bring your photos and electronic voice phenomena and have the experts evaluate your evidence. There is no charge to attend this event.
Anna's Arbor will be serving so guests can enjoy a meal or dessert while watching a midnight horror flick.
Saturday's events will include the showing of the 1963 classic, “The Haunting,” at 11 a.m. at the Chester County Library. There is no admission charge.
Tally Johnson will hold a book signing from 2 until 3 p.m. at the library.
The Monterreys will be in concert from 3 until 5 p.m.
State Paranormal Investigations will conduct an hour of ghost hunting in the 1914 Jail beginning at 6 p.m. No one under the age of 14 will be admitted and everyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Waivers must be signed. There is a $25 fee.
Saturday's events will conclude with “The Return of the Wild Child Ball!” at The Summit Food and Spirits. There will be drink specials and guests are encouraged to wear costumes.
