Fall Riversweep planned for Nov. 4

The Great Falls Home Town Association will sponsor the fall Riversweep on Saturday, Nov. 4.

Catawba Riverkeeper, Duke Energy and Palmetto Pride are also sponsors of the event.

Volunteers are needed for the event, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. The cleanup will primarily focus on the islands in Stumpy Pond and some of the bank area around the reservoir. Volunteers will meet at Debutary Landing or Stumpy Pond Landing (Lancaster side).
