Entries needed for Christmas parade

Entries are being accepted for the 2017 Great Falls Christmas Parade.

The parade will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19.

The parade, sponsored by the Town of Great Falls, is the first parade of the Christmas season in Chester County.

The parade will start at 3 p.m. with line-up beginning at 2 p.m. All participants are asked to be in their position no later than 2:45 p.m. Signs will be posted. The Great Falls Police and Fire Department will direct traffic flow to line-up positions.

Any golf carts, four-wheelers, etc. must be registered and have approval prior to parade day. Horses should come down Brooklyn and unload on Duke Power Hill. Do not come through town prior to the parade.

For more information, to enter the parade or to sponsor a float, call Janet Minors Hinson at 482-3700 or 519-8411 or Great Falls Town Hall at 482-2055. Anyone wishing to enter the parade should be signed up no later than Friday, Nov. 10.
