Torrey Craig put together a huge game to open up the 2014 S.C. Pro Am Basketball League season.

Craig hit 5-of-8 three-pointers and scored 29 points to help his team to a 97-90 win last Thursday. Originally, the league website had teams listed simply by numbers. Now, they appear to have names and Craig plays for "Bernie's Chicken." Craig missed his team's second game but the squad was still able to eke out a 95-90 victory in overtime.

Xavier Holmes, like Craig a former Class A Player of the Year at Great Falls High School, is a rising junior at Newberry College and is listed as being a teammate of Craig's with Bernie's Chicken but is not listed as having appeared in either of the team's first two games. Former Chester High and S.C. Gamecock standout Devan Downey is listed as being in the league but has not appeared on the stat sheet from either of the first two games. Play resumed last night and comes up again on Sunday at Heathwood High in Columbia.
