Chester driver loses life on I-77 in York County

A Chester driver has lost her life in an early Tuesday morning collision on I-77 in York County, according to the SCHP.

The SCHP report by Trooper Joe Hovis said the driver, a 31 year old Chester woman who has not yet been identified, was travelling south on I-77 near the 89 mile marker when she went off the right side of the road, struck a traffic camera, overturned the vehicle and was ejected and injured. She was not wearing a seatbelt, the report said.

She was transported to CMC where she later succumbed to her injuries.
